A piece of crap, uncritical and written based on light and obsolete research. Whoever praises this book is dismally ignorant of the cellular/molecular and genetic research. There are cardiovascular drugs listed in the book that overexpress TGF-Beta and dilate irreversibly the aorta, or that increase the risk of heart failure, etc. Facts of this sort are not even mentioned in this book. The book is repugnantly kind to the pharmaceutical industry.
It's a very well designed book in the field of pharmacotherapeutic.Dr Frishman and Sica are renowned experts.I highly recommend this book.
very helpful to review and educate oneself on pharmacology specifically related to the cardiovascular system. It is very detailed writing.
